Mission statement | It is the Mission of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, Health and Human Services Department to promote an optimal level of health and well being for American Indians and Alaskan Natives by utilizing traditional, modern, and culturally sensitive medical and social service practices which create balance in the physical, mental, spiritual, and social components of life. |
Service(s) description | Cowlitz Indian Tribe will work closely-with the District counselors and Native American Specialists to design specific plans to provide behavioral health services to students, including mental health. Services include the following: • Individual sessions • Assessments • Small groups based on referrals • Outside referral advocacy • Outreach to familles for related activities generated by the service. |
