Mission statementAtlantic Street Center is a non-profit social service agency based in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to help families and communities raise healthy, successful children and youth through direct services and advocacy for social justice and equity.
Service(s) descriptionWe provide wrap-around services including education, family support, and behavioral health counseling to the low-income minority populations of King and Pierce Counties.
Program impactOur Behavioral Health Program currently serves youth in 83 schools across King County, most are in the Seattle Public School District. Our counseling services help children and youth to become more emotionally healthy and resilient, enabling them to better engage in academics. Our Youth Development and Education After School Program provides academic and cultural enrichment services to youth during afterschool hours and school break periods.

Expanded Learning (1 program)

Programs that provide opportunities outside of the regular school day to practice and reinforce the skills students are learning in the classroom, to get exposure to new and different areas that may spark their interest and curiosity, and to cultivate strong social emotional skills and mindsets.

Family Engagement & Support (1 program)

Programs that support partnership with families and caregivers so that families can understand and support their child's academic and social emotional learning, easily navigate schools/district systems, and so that schools can leverage the assets and knowledge of families within the school community.
