Mission statement | Atlantic Street Center is a non-profit social service agency based in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to help families and communities raise healthy, successful children and youth through direct services and advocacy for social justice and equity. |
Service(s) description | We provide wrap-around services including education, family support, and behavioral health counseling to the low-income minority populations of King and Pierce Counties. |
Program impact | Our Behavioral Health Program operated out of more than 70 schools and provided help to children and youth to become more emotionally healthy and resilient. And Summer Academy continued to keep kids sharp for the new school year. Through it all, we continued to expand our services to more and more families, children, and youth in need, reaching over 5,000 individuals in 2017 alone. |

Behavior/Social and Emotional Learning and Supports (3 programs)
Programs that support adults and students in developing 21st century skills and competencies such as self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and building trusting relationships, in order to handle ourselves, our relationships, and our work/studies effectively. This is inclusive of programs supporting alternative discipline approaches such as restorative justice.
