| Program Description | Friends of the Children Seattle pairs children with professional mentors (called Friends), providing weekly mentoring from Kindergarten through graduation. Friends work with children unconditionally, on a weekly basis. for twelve and a half years in support of three long-term goals: succeed in school and graduate from high school prepared for post-secondary education, make good choices and avoid the juvenile justice system, and develop a healthy lifestyle and avoid teen parenting. |
