Mission statement | Our mission is to empower and support immigrant and refugee families to achieve academic excellence through equity driven access and holistic educational service. |
Service(s) description | Our after-school programming aims to help first- and second-generation immigrant youth to overcome cultural, linguistic, and structural barriers that can lead to poorer academic performance and life outcomes compared to their peers. We will offer after-school programs three days a week each school which include but are not limited to tutoring, mentorship and language support. We offer students homework help, academic support, community engagement programs to the most critical communities in the public school system. These services will be provided to children and youth in 1st -8 grade. The most effective strategy we employ to deliver our services is offering our afterschool program at schools where it is accessible. |
