| Mission statement | I want to help you engineer for equity. I believe that leaders at every level are the key factor in changing the outcomes for marginalized students. I am passionate about education and social justice. I want to support you to build a bridge between your commitment to equity and your mission of empowering all students. I want to connect like-minded individuals to harness our collective strength, learn faster together, and empower our schools. This will connect critical pedagogy, change management, and design thinking. I hope that leadership can be your tool for transforming schools, for the benefit of our children. |
| Service(s) description | Through my consulting company, Truss Leadership, I have led various workshops and offered professional development to over 12,000 educators. In addition, I have begun working with schools, non-profits, and districts to manifest their racial equity goals. This includes onsite (or virtual) antiracist/anti-bias training for staff, strategic planning with leadership teams, and 1 on 1 coaching of leaders. Finally, I have 4 year long virtual courses: Antiracist Leadership, Antiracist Teaching, Racial Affinity Groups, and Leveraging the Power of Racial Equity Leadership Teams. |
