Mission statementWith InvestED, there is no paperwork for students to complete or permission slips for parents to sign. Whenever an educator sees a child in need, they are able to intervene immediately and remove the barrier(s) preventing that child from fully engaging in school. Our proven approach to simplifying the process for public schools and students makes InvestED unique among education nonprofits. Big impacts, little cost, no fuss.
Service(s) descriptionEach year, InvestED has nearly 2,000 local educators helping distribute our funding to students who need extra support. Our hard-working School Coordinators are empowered to identify children who are experiencing financial hardships and immediately access funds the schools' InvestED accounts to help those students. No paperwork is required and the student doesn’t need to be on free and reduced lunch to qualify. Free-of-charge, InvestED provides public schools with additional funding to help cover costs for ASB cards and supplemental workbooks; warm coats and clothing; test fees and health expenses; band equipment and college applications; sports equipment and graduation fees; remote learning support and much more.

Family Engagement & Support (1 program)

Programs that support partnership with families and caregivers so that families can understand and support their child's academic and social emotional learning, easily navigate schools/district systems, and so that schools can leverage the assets and knowledge of families within the school community.
