Mission statementTo help eligible high school students excel in high school, get accepted to college and STEM majors, and graduate with a STEM degree.
Service(s) descriptionThe goal of Math Science Upward Bound is to help low income and potential first generation college students succeed in high school and prepare them to enter higher education and receive a college degree, especially in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. In order to prepare our students for the rigors of college, the UW STEMsub program offers both a Summer Academy and Academic Year Services. UW Math Science Upward Bound (STEMsub) is a TRIO program. Students can only be part of one TRIO program at any one time, according to the Department of Education.
