Mission statementOur mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Service(s) descriptionWe empower students to break through personal challenges and create access to resources and opportunities that help them overcome the barriers that stand between them and an equitable path to education. We support students who are furthest from educational justice. Our evidence-based model of Integrated Student Support, which is a student-centered approach firmly grounded in the research on child and youth development, is designed to promote educational, social and emotional development of students and position them to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Program impactDuring the 2022-2023 school year, CISGKC helped 13,968 students in 4 school Districts & 38 schools achieve their goals. Of those students, 933 received intensive case management and: 85% improved their attendance rates 92% improved their behavior 86% improved their coursework 95% improved Social Emotional.
