Service(s) description | Seattle CARES Mentoring Movement will provide programming using established training protocols and a standardized curriculum material based on The Rising Program: Elevating, Education, Expectations and Self-Esteem (a group mentoring model). The curriculum has been evaluated by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for its effectiveness to increase critical thinking in challenging situations; eliminated self-harming behavior; increased pride in young Black boys; increase a sense of self-worth and hope for the future. |

This is inclusive of programs supporting alternative discipline approaches such as restorative justice.
