Mission statementZeno builds young children’s early math skills by equipping families with fun and engaging tools to create the math foundation for a future of limitless opportunity. We focus on serving families of color in low-income communities through partnerships with community-based organizations and early learning programs.
Service(s) descriptionOur elementary school programs help families develop the tools and confidence they need to support their kids in math and provide opportunities for families to play and engage with math together.
Program impactIn 2016-2017, Zeno served over 2,000 kids and the adults in their lives, including: - 500 families in 17 classrooms and 5 home visit programs through our MathWays for Early Learning program - 600 kids and their family members at 5 Family Math Night events - 800 kids and their family members at Math & Science Mashup events in partnership with the Pacific Science Center - 500 kids and their family members at 2 MathFest events

Expanded Learning (1 program)

Programs that provide opportunities outside of the regular school day to practice and reinforce the skills students are learning in the classroom, to get exposure to new and different areas that may spark their interest and curiosity, and to cultivate strong social emotional skills and mindsets.
