| Service(s) description | The Mountaineers partners with youth serving organizations throughout the Puget Sound region to deliver single or multi-day outdoor education experiences. Our flexible, hands-on curriculum is designed to expose youth to transferable outdoor skills and impart a desire to explore and conserve the outdoors. Students learn skills applicable to almost anything youth will do for the rest of their lives: communication, planning, overcoming obstacles, and team-work. The Mountaineers offers indoor and outdoor climbing, snowshoeing, navigation, and other outdoor skill-focused activities. We have a long history of partnership with Bailey Gatzert Elementary, Aki Kurose Middle School, and Interagency Academy. |
