Mission statementArts Impact empowers teachers to build the confidence and competence to integrate the arts into the everyday classroom experience to ensure all children have access to quality arts education. Leading with racial equity, Arts Impact teaches arts infusion to close the opportunity gap for children of color and children of poverty.
Service(s) descriptionArts Impact’s professional learning program enables classroom teachers to teach standards-based arts concepts, skills and techniques, and to infuse the arts into other core curricular areas. Professional learning is experiential, sustained and practical, supporting successful change in instructional practice and improvement in student outcomes. In addition, Arts Impact offers two artist in residence programs–Arts FUNdamentals and EcoArts for K-5 grades.
Program impactOver the past 16 years 1,061 teachers, from 121 schools and 21 districts have completed Arts Impact reaching more than 110,000 students.

Academic Learning (2 programs)

Programs that support and reinforce school-day academic instruction within any subject area - language arts, career and technical education, math, science/technology, visual and performing arts, physical education, health education, ethnic studies, social studies, and world languages - in alignment to the curriculum and academic goals for students and the district.
