| Program Description | Joshua's Tree: This project will offer students a chance to grieve and process the passing of a classmate. We will witness and discuss art that engages with transitions, loss, and death. Our goal is emotional processing, vocabulary for anger
and grief, and familiarity discussing subjects that are surrounded by taboo and often cloaked by shame and silence. Our poems and conversations will plant the seeds for a mural project next semester that Urban Artworks will lead on campus, to remember Joshua. |
