Program DescriptionWe promote early literacy through Credible Messenger curriculum that is a promising practice/national model and adheres to a fidelity of facilitation and flow. Our facilitators are licensed as Credible Messenger mentors, Certified Peer Counselors, and Healing Centered Engagement Practitioners. The curriculum is culturally responsive, promotes young people to understand Culture, Agency, Relationships, Meaning, and aspirations. We seek to support young people in understanding where they come from, who they are and where they see themselves going. Behavioral health is largely overlooked in BIPOC communities due to stigma and intergenerational trauma. We seek to build relationships with participants to support them in understanding positive outlets and dialog surrounding these topics.
